SUMMARY:Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Course: Ethics in Clinical Practice
DESCRIPTION:Instructor: Autumn Ning\, M.D. \nThis class address ethical dimensions of psychodynamic clinical work – not as a set of rules to follow but as a living\, ongoing dimensions of practice. Topics will include the ethics of the therapeutic frame\, confidentiality and its limits\, managing dual relationships\, and the ethical use of self-disclousre and countertransference. Students will be invited to bring clinical situations in which ethical questions have arisen\, and to examine how ethical reasoning and clinical reasoning inform each other.
