Full Membership in the Florida Psychoanalytic Society is open to:
- graduates
of the Florida Psychoanalytic Institute,
- graduates
of institutes accredited by the American Psychoanalytic Association,
- graduates of institutes accredited by the International Psychoanalytic Association

Adjunct Membership in the Florida Psychoanalytic Society
All individuals who have a professional or scientific interest in psychoanalytic principles are invited to become adjunct members of the Florida Psychoanalytic Society.
The Florida Psychoanalytic Society's Scientific Programs carry continuing education credits for mental health professionals. The overall objectives of the Society and the Scientific Programs are:
- To enhance knowledge and understanding of psychoanalytic concepts and their application in clinical practice
- To promote interchange between mental health professionals with varying theoretical perspectives and to enhance mutual respect.
- To raise awareness about contemporary psychoanalytic thinking within the South Florida community at large.
Privileges of membership: newsletters, use of the Library and reduced fees for scientific meetings.
