The mission of the Florida Psychoanalytic Foundation is to raise funds and sponsor programs which promote increased awareness and understanding of psychoanalysis and encourage effective and innovative dissemination of psychoanalytic ideas and services to the public.

The Foundation's objective is to educate the public, mental health community and allied disciplines about the relevance and application of psychoanalysis to human behavior and suffering and cultural phenomena.

These objectives are accomplished by supporting the Florida Psychoanalytic Institute and Society in its endeavors to educate psychoanalysts and psychoanalytic clinicians, by sponsoring and supporting scientific programs, seminars, symposia and fundraising events and by supporting a psychoanalytic library.

Recently, a building fund has been established with the future goal of purchasing and supporting a home for the Florida Psychoanalytic Institute and Society.

It is through the generosity of donor contributions to our tax exempt Foundation, that these goals can be attained.
