Our faculty members
donate their time, faculty dues, experience, and expertise, fostering
the personal and professional growth of students, colleagues, and the
community. Your tax-deductible membership contributions help us reach
the greatest number of clinicians in the community and sustain the highest
possible standards.
The mission of the Florida Psychoanalytic Foundation is to raise funds
and sponsor programs which promote increased awareness and understanding
of psychoanalysis and encourage effective and innovative dissemination
of psychoanalytic ideas and services to the public. The Foundation's objective
is to educate the public, mental health community and allied disciplines
about the relevance and application of psychoanalytic understanding to
human behavior and culture.
These objectives are accomplished by supporting the Florida Psychoanalytic
Institute and Society in its endeavors to educate psychoanalysts and psychoanalytically-oriented
clinicians, by sponsoring and supporting scientific programs, seminars,
symposia and fundraising events and by supporting a psychoanalytic library.
It is through the generosity of donor contributions to our tax exempt
Foundation, that these goals can be attained. The Foundation is a 501
(c) (3) non-profit organization serving the public and mental health professionals.

Each year, we provide
thousands of hours of service to the community. We offer a wide range
of pro-bono or low-cost, high-quality treatment, including partnerships
with agencies that work with children and with veterans and military families.
We provide excellent continuing education to mental health professionals
and students through our scientific meetings, seminars, mini-courses,
supervision, and formal training programs.
We invite you to support us and help continue our growth. Your membership
and your donations are needed!
Tributes can be made for an honorarium, birthdays, anniversaries,
or graduations. A tribute can be made to honor a friend, family, or a
board, faculty, and/or staff member.
Memorial contributions are a thoughtful way to remember
a loved one.
Recipients of tributes or the family for whom a memorial contribution
is made will be informed of your donation by mail.
